Ohio is ecstatic to announce that we have expanded with a WTS chapter! My name is Migdalia Lopez, and I am the state lead for Ohio and the Cincinnati lead for southwest Ohio. Our current mission, especially being a swing state, is to face the current administration and show that the next generation will NOT back down. We are currently expanding from a NYC-based organization to a nationwide powerhouse. Ohio is one of the first states we are expanding to, and we need YOUR help! We have several different ways to get involved on several different levels:
city lead
The city lead is in charge of a large city or a grouping of small cities. Depending on the logistics of your city, you would either be a strategy city, focused on individual assistance, or an action city focused on civic education and shows of force. City leads are in charge of city-wide events and serve as a liaison between the school captains and the state lead, passing along information and teaching the material the state lead provides.
The school captain is similar to the city lead, but on a smaller scale. They host school-wide events (typically only club meetings to teach the material the city lead gives you). The school leads serve as a liaison between city leads and the members of their school. They pass along crucial information about city, state, or national events to the students in their clubs. Depending on the event, they may be asked to help lead or speak.
